A little taste of what we’re cookin’ up

Gastropub meets brunch, with a seasonal menu, well-sourced ingredients, locally roasted coffee, and a bakery case that has absolutely no respect for your good intentions.

We cook intentionally, make the good stuff from scratch, and believe there’s plenty of room for a little indulgence. The menu changes with the seasons, but you can always expect food that’s familiar enough to crave and interesting enough to come back for.

Winna’s is named after my mom, and my daughter Kinsey and I run it together.

We think about food a lot. We talk about it, argue about it, change our minds about it, and occasionally make things way harder than they need to be because we know it can be better. Our menu changes with the seasons, we care where our ingredients come from, and we make a lot of things from scratch simply because we think they taste better that way.

We’ve gotten to do some really cool things because of this little restaurant. We won Cooking Channel’s Chef Swap at the Beach, cooked on NBC’s TODAY show, and we represented the Grand Strand at the Southern Living Test Kitchen in Birmingham.

But most days, it’s just us and our team, making food, drinking lots of coffee and diet coke, trying new things, and figuring out how to make Winna’s a little better than it was yesterday.

We take the food seriously. Ourselves, not so much.
